What if they had a show that brought back each team that got eliminated in the first elimination round? Might be interesting..

Honestly, I prefer all knew teams, maybe more so with social games like Survivor but I still would rather watch TAR with fresh faces, not those who have played the game already. I'd still watch it, but I think I would rather see new teams.

She only did the one, Ascend Cliff. All of the remaining male/female teams are 4-to-1 (easy guess which one has done four) while the others are 3-to-2.

When Rob&Kimberly read out the last Roadblock hint, "Who's the driving force behind this team," I'm pretty sure they both said, "I'll do it," simultaneously. But of course Rob ended up driving, even though Kimberly's legs/feet are still both good, unlike Sarah and Mary.

I agree with Jason that the rule is still in effect, but not mentioned early on, just like last time. You might be able to find proof by checking some of the interviews on the web site.

You must have missed Rob 'n Ambah get married. :D He was very good at this game though, didn't eat anything and got other teams to drop out in the eating comp so he had a nice lead as well.

Don't remember which team didn't make one of the flights, but they were denied boarding because the flight was supposedly full. However, there were many interior shots of the plane, even after take-off, that showed loads of seats available.

Looked like standard airline practice where the window and aisle seats were filled first, with the middle seat held open until needed. Looked like every team on that flight took the window/aisle and a middle seat was available.

Seemed like there was plenty of room for other passengers.

How many of the empty seats would have gone to the crew? Remember that each team is toting a cameraman and a sound guy each, and they need to have tickets as well.

Good point Jason, obviously the crew has to sit somewhere.

Also reminded me of a Pan Am flight I was on in 1988 from London to Seattle, about a month before the Lockerbie crash. The plane was heavily loaded with cargo and many people were bumped because the plane would have been overweight. I ended up getting on only because of lucky timing, arriving about three hours before departure. There was plenty of room to relax, I had an entire row of seats to myself, so just put up the armrests and stretched out. Even cutting back on passengers, we still had to land in Canada to refuel.

May have been a similar situation, apparently sometimes the cargo is more important than a paying passenger.

Sort of OT, I had a flight delay in July, for a repair to the PA system. We sat on the plane at the gate during the repair. In the 90 minutes it took, the outdoor temperature went up by about 20 degrees (fahrenheit). Once the repair was complete, the pilot announced that seven people had to give up their seats before we could leave. He explained that the warmer temperature made the air thinner, which meant less lift. The plane, which would have been fine 90 minutes and 20 degrees earlier, could have not have gotten off the ground.

So, to buttress Stan, sometimes, even when a plane is not full, it can be too full.

Dheiner is right. sure enough, a FF appeared last night and it was certainly beneficial to team Kentucky and a very nice move by the Cho brothers. The FF seemed pretty easy so long as you think rationally. Do you think the producers are going to have a truly dangerous FF where teams can risk serious injury and spark a lawsuit? It seemed like one of the easiest FFs one could do, perhaps the hardest part was putting on the heat suits!

So all this talk about Peter and Sarah, I guess will quiet down. Another episode where it's Sarah doing the roadblock where Peter sits and sulk, though climbing a ladder isn't that bad cause you will have three points of contact at least rather than ascending where you rely on 1 or 2 depending on your setup at some points.

Good episode last night. I liked the Chos getting a police escort, and the camel racing was odd but enjoyable.

Another lucky break for Kentucky. I wonder if they'll be able to pull a miracle again like before.

Well, they can't pull out the same miracle, since you only get the once Fast Forward per team. However, if the Chos continue to obligingly only move as fast as their slowest friends, they could get pretty lucky.

I'm guessing that the "intersection" requires two teams to work together, which will mean that they will catch up to at least one team.

Did they run a full hour last night? I could swear that with the football delay, they are cutting the show shorter. This episode only had the one challenge when most of them have the detour and the roadblock, no?

It ran a full hour. They had to fly out, drive to a boat, swim back and forth, drive to a post office, drive to the detour - look for a sail on an island or be a dumbass and look through loads of salt find nothing and then find a sail on an island, then drive to pitstop.

I'm pretty sure they cut a roadblock out - notice how they blurred out the actual text on one of the blue "Navigation Info" cards (I think the one from the boat to the post office), which they occasionally do if it winds up being a FIFO task.

Those two beauty queens annoy the hell outta me! And the Cho Bros are acting WAY too nice for this late into the race.

I love the Beauty Queens and would like to see them win.
I don't really mind the dating couple, the models, the bothers or the Kentuckians.

Can not stand Bama and was really hoping they missed the flight because of the BQs. After all Bama told that one person not to help the BQs in the previous episode so turnabout is fair play.

Although I don't mind them I am kind of annoyed that the Kentuckians have managed to avoid elimination twice because of the non-elimination round.

Maybe the rule should be that you only get one NE per race.

I'm rootin' for the Kentuckians to win, IMO they're the more "real" and down to Earth of all the teams, plus I just think they're a hoot lol. Hopefully they can safely hang back for 30 min because I don't see lightning striking twice for them.

The team I dislike the most at this point are the two African American women, they've been on my shit list since very early on when they siad "Screw them" to the two guy models.

I'm very indifferent towards everyone else.

Last season, BJ&Tyler were also saved by non-elimination twice, and they ended up winning (and it's happened before too). The difference is that they could race, and win legs without the Fast Forward. David&Mary are horrible racers. For example, they sould have stuck with Salt. They were already last. They knew that no other teams had found a single clue, so their odds were good, and it was their only real chance to avoid coming in last.

Chris/Alex, Flo/Zach, and IIRC Chip/Kim came in last on two NELs and went on to win as well.
