As I know there are a fan or two of Ford fairlane on the forum, I will post this, even though it is strictly a Norwegian release. Ford fairlane is coming on DVD in Norway. Na na na na na na.
Sorry, I had to get the last bit out of my system...

Not much extras, only the movie in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby digital 2.0 surround sound with a trailer.
Some Norwegian DVD's have forced subtitles, but at least they are not dubbed, especially when they can argue that the release is exclusive or early, so I think it's a safe bet there will be forced, player generated subtitles, although there are no words on other languages.

"...player generated subtitles... "

...there ain't no such animal!... a DVD player doesn't 'generate' anything,
it simply 'reads' whatever 'bitstreams' are encoded on the DVD (be it movie, trailer, behind-the-scenes featurette, different soundtracks [PCM stereo, MPEG multi-channel, DD 2.0, DD 5.1, dts, etc.], subtitles [in different languages], whatever)...

Hate to rain on anyone's parade, but it's on the schedule to come out at about the same time in R4 as well...

My sincere sympathies to my fellow HT brothers/sisters in Norway and Australia/New Zealand. Maybe they will cancel this title and you'll be able to spend your money on something from America that we're proud of.
