I received my copy via the Kickstarter yesterday and checked out a couple of episodes. The image and sound are superb - better than any vintage TV series I've ever seen. And be sure to let the menu music play all the way to the end for a surprise.

At the moment, I have a rare opportunity to treat myself to a Christmas time gift with a spare $50, which I wanted to spend on Amazon.ca, but most of the titles I'm interested in are either unavailable (The Abbott & Costello Show Season 1 and Africa Screams! (1949) Restorations) or far more more costly (The Little Rascals Restorations Volumes 1 -3) on that platform!

To be honest, I hardly ever place orders of any kind any more. Of course, that's when Amazon decided to arbitrarily slap on a must have ordered $50 or more worth of stuff from their site within the last 12 months to be allowed to post reviews or comments. At first, I was kind of ticked off, but at this stage, I'm almost at the point of not caring at all. When I get the rare chance to place any orders, I'll go with the least expensive legitimate platform for that specific order, be it Amazon or some other entity.

Bob Furmanek, Jack Theakston and company have really outdone themselves with this restoration, and I'm greatly looking forward to enjoying the results on THE ABBOTT & COSTELLO SHOW Season 1 Blu-ray set!
