Hello,
I want to thank Thomas for the idea of using the Nerf Football in my subwoofer port. The sub is a 142.5l 21hz tuned Shiva. I was experiencing extreme port noise at

Larger box = lower tuning, marginally higher efficiency, lower "Q", etc, etc. Most people think larger boxes sound better, and that infinitely big boxes sound best.....
