Doesn't look like we're going anywhere Dennis. Not with this shower of idiots in charge of the country. There's a lot of anger and frustration in these Isles. The wrong person making the deals at this crucial time. One comment at the Mail website - "Where's Guy Fawkes when you need him?" sort of sums it up.

Not surprising, considering all the masterminds that pushed for it abandoned the cause as soon as that vote went in their favour. Canada will get it's version next year, it will take a miracle for Trudeau to get in a second term which means we're going in the same direction that the UK and the States has gone.

I just bought a nearly new Miata (MX-5 in Brit speak). Best to get them before any threatened tariffs go into effect, as it's actually made in Japan at the home factory in Hiroshima. An elderly couple bought it on a lark and found it was too difficult to climb in and out of. So they traded it in after 6 months with 681 miles (approx. 1,000 km). I got it for $6,500 under MSRP with almost all of the long warranty in effect.

The red cloth top makes it look like it's wearing a red cloth hat. Now does that imply any kind of political statement?

Nice little car Dennis. 2-seater? They still make 2-seater cars? How useful can they be? Unless it's a second car, to have fun with.

Russ, Trudeau and Macron, seemed to be very popular leaders at first... but the love affair didn't last.

At least you guys have people in charge of the country, we've got Remainer May, and no one voted for her...

Mazda is making the car that MG and Triumph should be making today, but they both bailed circa 1980. My other car is the uber practical Suzuki SX4 AWD, sold in the EU and UK (see what I did there?) as a Fiat Sedici. The Sedici is IIUC assembled in Romania.
