A new dancing Spider-man!
* STAR WARS DAY *
May the 4th be with you
We're having some hot weather here in Manchester, currently 25 centigrade (77 fahrenheit). Hopefully the next 4 months will be scorching hot. Summer heat makes you less hungry, you sweat more and hopefully lose weight more.

Same temp up here in Northern Alberta, Steve. We had an extra long winter that seemed to go straight into summer with no spring. Spooky times, Hawaii is on fire while East and West coast Canada floods from rapid thaw.
(Looks like I'm gonna have to find Psycho Beach Party!)
I watched Thor Ragnarok and Black Panther. Thor was fine, but I found it too jokey. It seemed like you could have swapped out Thor for Iron Man and it would have been the same movie. Good action, and some of the jokes worked, but I miss the Shakespearean sci-fi of the first film.
Loved Black Panther. Felt like it's own movie, had big ideas, varied politics, intriguing characters, good action. Hopefully they don;t ruin it when they mash BP into the Marvel Universe.
Going to try to sneak in Infinity Wars tomorrow.
Hi Russ, it's good to have some hot weather sometimes, maybe we'll have a summer this year.
I was preparing a video on Annette Funicello, beach party queen of the 60s, and I came across that picture of young Amy Adams from Psycho Beach Party. Didn't even know that film existed until a few days ago. Might be worth a peek.
Nice to see you're watching some big expensive movies, makes a change from your usual zero budget preferences [Russ growls]. Agree Black Panther was much better than expected. A good cast, well directed, nifty gadgets and you don't have to watch all the other Marvel films to follow the story.
I really enjoyed the humour in Thor Ragnarok, it was good to see these Norse gods let their hair down (shorn by the creator Stan Lee) and have some fun.
Infinity War is jokey too... until everyone dies at the end, the film finishes with a jubilant Thanos dancing to Boogie Wonderland which was a tad over the top I thought, especially after that bloodbath.
Speaking of Frankie and Annette, I spun BEACH BLANKET BINGO last week! It came in at #9 on your list I think. I thought it better than that. I mean, it's awful, but it's fun and Don Rickles rips the entire cast and genre in a nightclub sequence in the film. Pretty great! THE CATALINA CAPER did not have Frankie and Annette, but did have Little Richard for a song. It was absolutely terrible. AVOID!
The #1 film on that Annette vid warms my heart. HEY HEY!
I was in Philadelphia this weekend. It hit 90-degrees F. on Friday!
As the Continental Congress used to like to sing: "It was hot as HELL, in Phil-a-DELL-fee-uh. Someone oughta OPEN up a window!""
Well the polls have just closed here in SW Idaho. No results until 9 PM Mountain Time since the northern part of Idaho is in Pacific Time . I wonder if the ID 1st Congressional District is the only one spread over two time zones.
It's getting hot again. 23 degrees centigrade.
And it's another Royal Wedding and to a black American girl this time. Time's sure have changed. No I wasn't invited.
I thought they'd seat you right next to Sir Elton.
Is that Meghan? She's now the Duchess of Sussex aka Sassy Sex. Not a fairytale princess than?
Elton John? gaah I'm sure he was there, probably as the fairy godmother.
Watched Bikini Beach earlier today, it was rubbish but it does have plenty of bouncing babes in bikinis on a beach and... hey wait.... maybe that's why it's called Bikini Beach! Anyway old Boris Karloff makes a brief appearance at the end admiring a painting by a chimp, and 'Little' Steve Wonder sings a song. The film must have been edited by a chimp, in a couple of scenes Steve Wonder is visible in the crowd watching himself on the stage singing!
