I saw "Baby Driver" this past weekend -- had been one of my most anticipated summer films. I thought it was really entertaining, with great audio/visual complementation. I only wish Baby had better taste in music.

I also saw "The Beguiled". I've never seen the Eastwood version (though I plan to now). I thought it was fantastic!!

Rented the Korean film "Tunnel", which I had missed when it played locally. A motorist is trapped when a poorly built tunnel collapses around him and he struggles to stay hopeful for a rescue while there is political and media mayhem outside. Interesting watch.

Baby Driver looks like fun, a future blind buy.

I'm watching childhood favorite The 7th Voyage of Sinbad on blu-ray and with excellent 5.1 surround sound, very nice indeed.

Actually, been there.. just over a month ago.

Rather close to you Steve, from my usual point of view.
(I was there before 16:30, apparently. Oh, and ignore the repeated words "over 60".)

Hey guys I've read that it's National Nude Day today - July 14th - in the USA. Well I hope the weather is warm.

And by sheer coincidence it's also National Tape Measure Day, I kid you not.

What could you possibly want to measure on National Nude Day?

Saw "War for the Planet of the Apes" this past weekend. Very good -- I've really enjoyed this whole series.

Russell, can I borrow Robertson screwdrivers in sizes #2 and #3? We don't have Crappy Tire stores down here.

Coincidence that it comes at a time that the release of Terminator 2 has been announced on 4k UHD?

Mike, I bought a book of Gil Elvgren's artwork a few years ago. It's almost impossible to pick a favorite they're all great.
