A friend gave me his Avia software to use but he doesn't have the red or green filter anymore. After using the blue filter the tint looks correct, but there seems to be a red push, but without the filters I wonder what is the best way to try and adjust the color? I have the Pleasantville disc that has test pictures that show skin tones, and before any adjustments, the colors are very red. What other discs are good to adjust the red? I will be purchasing my own Avia in the future so I can have my own copy, but I want to calibrate as best I can right now.

    Gracias

The only way to do it without a filter is if your display has a red-only option, or if it is a CRT projection device, physically cover the blue and green tubes. Then you will only be seeing the red output, and can compare the amount of red in the grayscale and in the red part of the image.

    Thanks guys

I think I will just see if I can get a replacement from Ovation. It is the most obvious answers that I never think of!
