Testing RAM chips (1 Viewer)

I am almost positive that my co-workers computer has a bad memory chip in it...Is there an application that can detect a failing RAM chip? Or do we have to do the old method of pulling them all out and putting them back in (one-by-one) to determine which one is the faulty one?
