My tiny (1,040 square foot) house in San Jose sold today. It was only on the market a week. Selling price $657,000, or over $7,000 over asking price. Sold strictly in "as is" condition. Short 21 day escrow period. I had multiple offers and took the best one.

The San Jose real estate market is still crazy, no matter what kind of hand-wringing the mainstream media is making over the so-called "housing bubble".

Craaaaazy. But, congratulations. :emoji_thumbsup:
BTW, Ron's announced we're going to finally have that software upgrade that they tried a few months ago. Looks like the forum will be down again for awhile.
Just in case you didn't see the announcement.

Looks kinda like Dennis Hopper's house in Speed! The one that blows up with Jeff Daniels inside it.
Honestly. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw it. Weird.

Parker fecit.

He's sleeping now. Quietly go to Area51 (yes, you too, Dennis) and read my explanation about the situation of the forum and where to find Parker (but don't wake him up!).

Mike: you may want to clean-up your sig. The process added some characters.

Cees

– The Babbitt and The Bromide
"The Babbitt and the Bromide"
Music by George Gershwin, Lyric by Ira Gershwin
Verse 1
A Babbitt met a Bromide on the avenue one day.
They held a conversation in their own peculiar way.
They both were solid citizens- They both had been around.
And as they spoke you clearly saw their feet were on the ground.
Refrain
Hello! How are you?
Howza folks? What's new?
I'm great! That's good!
Ha! Ha! Knock wood!
Well! Well! That's Life!
Whatd'ya know? How's the wife?
Gotta run! Oh my!
Ta Ta! Olive Oil! Good-bye!
Verse 2
Ten years went quickly by for both these sub-sti-an-tial men,
And then it happened that one day they chanced to meet again.
That they have both developed in ten years there was no doubt,
And so of course they had an awful lot to talk about:
(Repeat refrain)
Verse 3
Before they met again some twenty years they had to wait.
This time it happened up above, inside St. Peter's gate.
A a harp each one was carrying and both were wearing wings,
And this is what they said as they kept strumming on the strings:
(Repeat refrain)
