I just got a 42 inch LG Plasma 42PX5D. Just wondering what movie I should use to test the black level of my TV?
    Thanks

You shouldn't use a movie, you should use a proper test pattern so that you know what it is you are looking at, presumably you want to look at black. Otherwise, you'd have to trust that a movie was encoded correctly so that something that looks dark is black, but a lot of times it's not, or there's detail going on there. Use a test pattern from Avia or DVE. DVE has full-frames of video black, and Avia has a full-frame black with moving bars slightly above black that can help you calibrate and/or detect clipping of shadow details.
