TESS has been re-issued in Korea...

    Polanski's beautiful 1980 film has been given a new DVD release in Korea - 2.35:1, NTSC, for anyone with multi-region players. I got sick of waiting for Columbia to bring this out. It can also be rented at Nicheflix (along with ED WOOD, EL CID, FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE and a bunch of other stuff the domestic companies are witholding from us, all NTSC, so no PAL conversion problems.

    i can only find the non-anamorphic WS version released May 25, 2003-is there a newer release?

    This is probably the same edition - it isn't anamorphic. But my understanding was that it had been pulled, then re-issued very recently.

    The 2.0 track has a lip synch problem but the 5.0 track is fine.
