I saw and enjoyed the first film, but Leone has become so self-indulgent and full of himself since these films have found success that I haven't bothered with Part 2 and have little interest in Part 3. That these sequels are both over 2 hours long (138 mins and 125 mins, respectively) is ridiculous when the first one was a fit and trim 85 minutes. A little Art goes a long way.

If Leone put half as much effort into creating compelling narratives as he does in dreaming up new and more sadistic means of depicting human mutilation, he might really have something. There is no internal logic or rules established in the Terrifier movies: Nothing that is established leads to a payoff and absolutely anything can happen, whether anything else in the movie justifies/establishes it or not. I'm sure some may see this random plotting as a strength and call it "nightmare logic" and "subverting audience expectations" but to me it makes these movies impossible to get invested in. After 4 hours spent watching Art the Clown, I don't feel any closer to knowing what his deal is (and I kind of don't care at this point).

William Castle would be proud. Maybe they should have someone dressed as a nurse stationed in the lobby and have audience members sign waivers before entering the theater.

Yeah, I'm sure every theater will have staff trained in first aid.

They'll probably just hand you a barf bag and hope you don't get any on the carpet.

I saw the second one in a theater with like two other people and now, every show at my local theater for the third movie has a legit crowd in it. I'm not a fan of the movies but my hat is off to an independent movie that made it big.
