Thanks for the link, dpippel. Interesting read.
He was in the extended version of T2, no?
And thanks for the link, good read.
Yes. Or was it a deleted scene?
You're correct. It's in the extended version.
Yep. Thanks for the correction.
Aren’t you both correct? It was deleted from the theatrical version and restored to the extended version.
This looks fine to me. But I'm also not jumping out of my seat with excitement over seeing it either.
Also, Deadline has an interview with James Cameron about producing the new movie:
I don't watch trailers online but does this one have the Terminator theme in it? The first trailer would have been a lot cooler if it had been in there.
I wonder how they are going to explain Arnold being older? And since they are ignoring all movies after T2, why is Linda pissed at Arnie? Based on this trailer, Furlong’s part is going to be small. I can’t wait.
Why is Arnie in it at all, he melted at the end of T2?
Some of it, yes.
Also, behold the rather generic new poster:
Gawd! My dog could design a better poster than that! What is it with the horrible artwork coming out of Hollywood?
Maybe that's why Linda is pissed, he didn't melt like he was supposed to.
That sounds like a gimme. That poster is pretty bad.
Technically, we don't know if it's the same terminator. It could be that the one from T2 did melt and this one is a different copy of the same model, like how the T2 version was the same model as the one who was trying to kill her in the first film but not the same character.
Who says Arnie is even a terminator in this one? I don’t think he is.
He may be the designer of the original Terminator and used his own likeness.
Bh the way the trailer I think looks awesome.
