Very cool, as my "Special" Edition got rot and died late last year and I was going to buy the R1, which has the original mono, but I held off and I am now glad I did. I have really wanted to see this gem again, as I recently saw Harlan Ellison's "Soldier" and the amazing, "Demon with a Glass Hand" Outer Limits episodes, of which Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd stole many ideas from and were later sued by Ellison, who, nevertheless, loved the film.

I wonder what the specs and extras will be for this?

Just saw this on the bbfc website.terminator new vma(value added material)As you can see,some of it was on the old release,although the other voices documentary could be the longer version from the region 1 dvd:

Cool. Thanks, Stephen. Very much appreciated. It bothers me not having this film in my collection. I really hope that this release has the original mono track. If not, I'll be ordering the R1.

Incidentally, where in Scotland are you? Not enough Scots at HTF, says I!

I.m sure there will more extras still to be clasified by the bbfc and perhaps it will have dts(like the japaneses ultimate edition).

Just need a decent quality T2 now to complete the trilogy. Still hoping they will release the extreme edition in the uk as i found the momentum special edition poor in terms of picture quality.
