    Is too much.ahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaahahah.
I just did an open air testing to see if it is working before i build the box for it. Least i could do for it is set it on top of a very steady solid oak desk and hooked it up to 380 Watt plate amp (bargain at $139 new :) When i fired up some music bass cd's, it made me swallow my gum, spill my coffee and gasp in disbelief. Which leads me to question those who were "disappointed" with tempest? I don't get it. [IMG] This is a free air testing for pete's sake. It boggles my mind to think how it would perform when i build a box for it. I was going to go with ported for extra whooph but no.... I change my mind. sealed will serve me just fine.
It's just that,..I've never been afraid of an subwoofer b 4 [IMG]

I did the same thing- I hooked my Tempest up to test it and it sounded great "free air" with no boundaries. I went sealed- 122L and it rocks for LFE with the gain way down. I'm about to build a 65L box just for 70's rock music- should render great fun!
