I was wondering If you could actually bottom out a Tempest driver with a 200 watt amp The reason I am asking this is do you think its worth getting a bigger amp for it if you can already bottom it out with a 200 watt amp. [IMG]

Depends on the size of the enclosure.

I don't have any experiences with an IB layout but Dan and ThomasW should be chiming in soon.

In an IB, you can bottom a Tempest with about 100 watts (frequency dependent). Your acoustic output will be quite high, though, as it's much more efficient. Max SPL in a sealed enclosure is determined by the displacement of the driver, regardless of how much "power handling" an enclosure provides.
