Hey, thanks Scott! I owe you one, so please remind me. :D

I knew I'd get solidly trounced regardless of whom I was placed up against. Just wanted to pick an offbeat list of shows--good, bad and in-between--of which I have fond memories.

While I appreciate that Angelo had a plan and stuck to it, I’m puzzeled as to how he could have picked so many children’s shows and missed the two I thought were the best: Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood and Sesame Street (I second it being way better than The Electric Company, which I always though a bit forced).

Plus count me in on the anti-Benny Hill contingent.

Only one on George’s list to which I’m indifferent is Monk. Otherwise well chosen, especially the offbeat and short-lived Wiseguy

I'm puzzled about you being puzzled...

Was trying to pick less-obvious stuff. Love the Street and the Neighborhood, but who doesn't? Electric Co. was odd, and it had Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno. 'Nuff said. :D

Clearly I could not see all of your plan. I thought that you were going for offbeat, but within that, the best of the offbeat. So, if you are going for something like Benny Hill, of its type, there is no competetion.

So I thought that within the kids shows, you would pick the best.

Little did I realize that you were going for the offbeat of the offbeat.

Actually, I’m in awe. But my vote is still for George.

Although Ric has the almighty Simpsons, nothing else on his list grabs me, and he's brought way down by the WWF, sports, Leap, and Night Court. Erik has a more solid list overall.

The Twilight Zone is top notch.

Star Trek & All in the Family are very good.

Happy Days & Family Ties are good.

Gilligan's Island sucks.

The Simpsons and Taxi are top notch.

Married... With Children, Quantum Leap & Night Court are very good.

The Honeymooners are important, but very overrated.

Tough, but Ric by a hair.

Although Scott has some stuff I dislike (football, MST3K, Cheers), he's got Python and Futurama... whereas Jan has nothing that I feel strongly about one way or the other.

I love Python movies, but the tv show is way too hit or miss for me.

SNL could be great, but also very sucky.

Cheers is great.

I never got into Mystery Science Theater.

Compared to the Simpsons (perhaps not a fair comparison, but an understandable one), Futurama really lacks.

I have no interest in Monday Night Football until LA gets a team again.

I really dislike Three's Company and Laverne & Shirley.

Love MASH, The Civil War & 60 Minutes,

so I guess I'll vote for Jan
