Quick question ...

I plan on placing NON-SHEILDED speakers close to my direct view TV. My goal is to get them as close as possible without damaging the TV. I do own a Gauss Meter, but am not sure what the "acceptable"/safe reading should be and when I'm approaching dangerous levels for TV damage. Can anyone help ???

Thanks.

The average television gives off between 25 and 500 milligauss at a distance of 1.2 inches. I'm not sure what the ratings are directly inside the electron tubes. So my S.W.A.G. (somewhat weird-ass guess) would be to keep the reading at a small percentage of 25mg.
