The Joe McDoakes shorts are my favorite part of the boxset.

I believe the film was distributed by MGM. Presuming any copyright and distribution rights issues are resolved, will the DVD come out from WBHV or MGM/Fox?

Since it was released by MGM (in CinemaScope and 4 track), it would be WHV, hopefully with 4.0 audio.

Any reviews yet for the dvd of "A Song Is Born?" I'm interested if it worth buying rather then renting, presuming it's available for rent.

I purchased a copy. It looks and sounds very good. There is nothing glaringly wrong with it other than being bare bones in terms of special features. I would post a review if I did not have a stack of actual screeners to get through from Warners.
