I'd be in for Smokey and the Bandit, Fast Times, and maybe even E.T.

This year, I already viewed North by Northwest and Casablanca at one of my local movie theaters so I'll pass up those titles. As to the others, I'll probably go see The Godfather and maybe, 2-3 more titles.

To me going to a repertory movie theater that showed film classics always meant a double feature. I feel somehow cheated with these single feature showings. Still miss the Regency Theater in NYC. Killed by VHS.

We'll be visiting our daughter in the States in January. Singing in the Rain is a family favorite, so I will be going with her to see it in Columbus, Ohio. No doubt about it. I have already told her about it and she is really excited, as am I.

Umm... three years ago October was FRANKENSTEIN/BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN. Two years ago it was DRACULA English and Spanish and this year it was THE SHINING. Now October has THE PRINCESS BRIDE?!?!?!?!? Why not show KING KONG?

My local theater pretty much plays a classic movie a week so I've seen SINGIN IN THE RAIN, FAST TIMES and THE GODFATHER rather recently. I'll probably try to catch RAIN and the rest of the selections.

From my personal experience with crowds, it's not too shocking that there aren't many B&W movies.

I'd like to take the fam to Singin' since they haven't seen it. I wonder if my wife will let me take Junior to see The Godfather or Fast Times. :)

Cinemark is still doing it. The past month they were busy with the TCM screenings and stuff like FROM DUSK TILL DAWN but they've got IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE coming up again.

Didn't Singin' in the Rain screened a few years ago when an Anniversay Blu-ray came out because I remembered viewing it in a movie theater recently?

Posting this in the 2017 thread because I didn't want to confuse people with two TCM/Fathom threads.

Saw From Here to Eternity for the first time today.

It looked and sounded great. Much more lfe than I was expecting for a 1953 film.

The 2017 lineup looks incredible.

Good lineup. I'm hoping to catch many of these over the year.

Went to NBNW, for comments on my experience read my thread on why multiplexes should still have projectionists.
