Thank you so much. I am looking through Cheap Charts and don't see a way to get a price alert if that feature exists at all.

I second iTunes as the way to go for these films, as they also have the extras the discs have for most of the films, including multiple audio commentaries for each.

If you have any interest in Bond I also recommend purchasing the excellent doc "Everything or Nothing," which has gotten multiple viewings from me.

The downside of the digital versions is that they don't include the original audio mixes for the older films, if that's important to you.

    Great point!

    I understand title exhaustion though.

Although the packaging is certainly a factoring point - in terms of everyone's long-term investments - the availability of any Bonds on 4K/UHD is a move in the right direction.

That is exactly what I did, Ron.. I think with the iTunes sale prices, I spent under $120 for all the films. I then sold all my Blu-ray discs for about $60, so my final cost was quite low. As Robert stated, these should all get upgraded to some type of HDR as the UHD discs are released.

If you hear of any sales on these sets let me know.

I don't want to buy these on disc again.

Reviews should be popping up soon.

digital bits will be reviewing this as well.

I’m on the fence as I just don’t watch the Craig films. the others are day 1 buys for me.

Personally I’m just waiting to see if they re-package this with No Time to Die after that film comes to home video. I fully intend to own these movies in 4K, but don’t want to buy a “Daniel Craig” collection that is missing literally ONE film. But if they never re-package this I’ll just have to settle with this collection and No Time to Die on its own, but I’ll give it some time before caving. This would have been a day-one full price purchase if they had just put in an empty spot for the final film.

I had the exact same thought. They will double dip in this set with the new one next year....

I’m hoping the other films are coming to UHd in March or April.

My review copy came today, so I assume all the other sites got theirs as well and reviews will pop up over the weekend!

I'll make sure to run "Casino Royale" by Sunday!

A few of Bill’s thoughts on the first 2. Full review coming in Monday...

I like the way we are being threatened to buy this set or they won’t release the others....

I’m questioning the validity of that happening. However I feel somewhat compelled to buy the set due to that reasoning as well.

Personally, I'd say the only Bonds I watch religiously over and over again are the Connery's and Moore's and George Lazenby's one off, which I still consider a great Bond movie. The rest, I casually peruse every 3-5 years to see if my estimation of them has improved with the passage of time. The Living Daylights has grown on me over time, as has Goldeneye, The World is Not Enough (especially it's pre-title sequence - wow!) and Casino Royale, which reported to be Craig's promise of even better Bonds to follow. Sadly, I'm not a fan of the remaining Craig Bond's, especially Quantum of Solace with its total rip-off of Shirley Eaton's death in Goldfinger - oil substituted for gold paint. Ho-hum!

Also not a fan of Ben 'wet behind the ears' Whishaw's Q - whose chiding of Bond misses the mark that the sage Desmond Llewelyn had in spades, or Naomie Harris as a sexy/black Moneypenny. I love Harris as an actress and her performance in these movies. However, she should have been developed as a new and reoccurring character in the franchise. The cream of the jest with Moneypenny was that she was a middle-aged gal who had absolutely zero chance of getting in Bond's shorts. Why the writers felt this dynamic had to be inverted so that Bond now casually desires Moneypenny, who has zero interest in him, is just a dumb creative decision. Ditto for the hint, at the end of Skyfall, that suddenly we are going back in time to the 'old school' offices of MI6 after Dame Judi Dench's sleek contemporary digs - first introduced in Goldeneye - were nuked by the villain at the end of that movie.

And then, of course, there's all the mucking around with 'the formula' that has virtually emasculated the Bond franchise, making it just another disposable actioner franchise. The Bond movies of yore set a standard. The Craig movies are merely following - and worse - aping - the current trend in PC picture-making. So, no scantily clad Bond girls who need to be rescued; no exotic locales populated by scantily clad ladies, no sun-filled vistas to offset the darkness to follow. A total lack of gadgets. I mean, what is Q's role in this franchise now - computer geek, jamming radio frequencies and mocking Bond - a guy whose jock he cannot even hold, much less fill, with his pithy retorts. All of the joy and life of the franchise has been sucked out of the Bond movies. Boooooooooring!

Will I see the Craig Bond finale when it finally hits screens? Well, yes. Sucker...and glutton for punishment that I am. I'll try and keep my biases at bay and hope for another movie of Casino Royale's caliber. I said, I'll try.

I guess target is not carrying the Craig 4k set. It’s not listed online and I asked a clerk in store as well. It’s not currently showing as an item they will be carrying.

I cancelled my Amazon order yesterday. The reviews from people on Bluray.com were ... Not much better than the Bluray releases. No Atmos ! ? Many also cancelled their orders also.
