I know there will be people who are giddy over this...but I can wait until Black Friday when the price is $5 or so. I have all the other Alien (and AvP) films, so getting this is a no brainer for the right price.

Actually, it will probably anger people that want all the bonus "goodies" but they are spread out over several store exclusives so unless you purchase the film 3 times there is no way to get them all. I am sure this is all based on the fact they were not pleased with the box office numbers so lets create different exclusives to cause obsessive fans to have to make more than one purchase.

So, do you want a shirt, a book, or a steel case? Oh my...if only they put as much into creating the film as they do the marketing.

My big question is...there was an Alien Day? I totally missed this and nobody even sent me a card...

That steelbook cover isn't going to win any awards... what the hell is that? I don't remember any of the creatures in the film looking like that. Looks like it is sitting on the toilet.

No mention of 3D? I know it's a dying format, but they released Prometheus in 3D.

Unless it was in 3-D internationally, Alien: Covenant wasn't released in 3-D in theaters.

That "Xeno takes a dump" cover is likely intentional.

Even though I saw the movie on opening day, I had to double check the lack of 3-D before posting. :)

These are thin pickings, as far as exclusive contact goes. No interest in the shirt or the steel case. The only thing remotely interesting to me is the booklet. Amazon, here I come.

There's more on there than I expected. I saw it in IMAX and it was a rare bad presentation (problems at that specific theater that I'm told have since been resolved) and a rowdy audience that wasn't into the movie. I'm going to enjoy seeing it again at home with a better presentation and with no one talking through it or laughing at the screen.
