Any news of when Taxi season 3 is coming out?I'm guessing July.
No news that I know of, but July isn't a bad guess.
The first season came out last October 12, and season
2 came out February 1.
I remember reading that Paramount wanted to get the entire series out by year end, in that case, it needs to be out in May or June, I've already finished my season 2 set, now I'm waiting for 3.
I was thinking season 3 would come out in June and season 4 in October, with the series completing dvd release in Feb 2006,every 4 months. What made me think July was Paramount is releasing Cheers season 5 in May and Frasier in June, instead of on the same day with Taxi, like was reported on tvshowsondvd.com,a while ago. I'm up to Latka's Revolting,on disc 2.Such a classic series,I don't want to watch it too quickly.
I for one, am waiting to complete my 5 season collection of Taxi!
That means I can finally get rid of all my crappy VHS copies!!
It hasn't made the cut for the June schedule (but the June schedule is subject to change). Any idea that the series will be complete by year's end is not only speculative, but unlikely.
With few exceptions, anything you read for dates beyond about four months out on Paramount product is generally not from an official source, and shouldn't be considered anything more than speculative.
I wonder if Gord or Dave have heard anything.I can't believe there hasn't any news, about this, since February.
Unless things change, it's not on the radar through August.
my guess (which isn't the best) is that we'll see season 3 around October, practically a year after season 1 came out.
That would be my guess,also.
season 3 has been officially announced, September 13
Here you go...
I just saw the news.It comes out eight days after my birthday. This cover is better than the previous two,in my opinion.Did anybody else notice that Jeff Conaway is sort of off in the back, due to season three being his final season?
Reading that this season would be another 4-disc set and with only 20 episodes produced, I would hope that Paramount went back to a 3-disc set and lowered the SRP by $5. However, seeing as their previous releases had the same SRP ($40) even though Season 1 was 3-disc and Season 2 was 4-disc, that's wishful thinking.
