Any chance of Taps and Turk 182, two early Timothy Hutton films, being released on widescreen DVD?
As far as I know (someone correct me if I'm wrong), they've only been released on pan and scan tapes...and they look pretty bad in pan and scan.

I'd love Turk 182! A great film; truly enjoyable. Who owns the rights to this?

Both Taps and Turk 182 were produced by 20th Century-Fox. So I guess the person who could answer this question would be Peter Staddon.

Hey, it's been a year and a half. Taps came out about six months after this thread occurred. All I can say is...
    [c]TURK 182![/c]
Seriously, I was thinking about this film today, and I can't wait for a DVD release of this great movie.

Hey y'all. I just picked up "Falcon and the snowman last week and remebered that Turk had come out. Anyone get it and hw does it look? Also, any news on a Beautiful Girls SE? And is it anamorphic in any region?

    Thanks! d
