According to Scifi Universe...Rick Berman had the following to say about the animated Trek series.


Berman has done more to "weaken" the franchise than the animated series could ever do. And I don't think it does.

Not to start anything between Trek/Wars people, but I think the proper term can be found in my signature.

I'm hoping for the moment when the satellite containing Gene's ashes spins itslef right out of orbit and crashes right into Berman, just like Mir's toilet seat in "Dead Like Me".

Hmm... if the Animated shows "weakened" the franchise, I'd hate to think what Voyager has done for it. I'm sure it involved respirator tubes and/or catheters though.
