Just recieved my copy of the season 3 set and it looks like the producers have finally listened to the fans.The main title sequence is included on all the episodes this time.Good news indeed

Thanks for the news, Stephen. Have you been able to confirm that none of the shows are the "syndication" edits (i.e. original gory/nudie, etc. HBO versions)?

If they're uncut, I will buy this set, since the openings are included. I still have no intention of buying the first two, just on principle.

Hopefully, others out there like me might make some increase in sales and perhaps the bigwigs will finally get the hint that maybe it's best not to tamper with (edit) old tv shows at all.

Had a look at Carrion Death and the ending seemed pretty gory and also saw some nudity in Abra Cadaver so it would seem to be the original unedited HBO versions (but don't quote me on that!)

Considering that they didn't use syndication edits on S1 or S2, I doubt they'll just suddenly start using them (especially when they listened to the people who want the openings back).
