I am about to buy a BenQ 7700. I have to mount it on a table because my ceiling is so low. Does anyone know if anyone sells tables specifically for projectors? I looked on the net and all I can seem to find is ceiling mounts. I would like it to be very thin if possible.

Yeah basically. I just need it to be higher. According to the manuel, the projector has to be even with either the top or the bottom of the projector. I thought there would be some products specifically for this.

hmmmmmm....to be honest I don't think you will be able to find a specific piece of furniture that is MEANT fot this purpose. What I would do is set up the screen and put the projector at the height that it needs to be to project the image without the use of keystone. This way you know exactly what height piece of furniture you will need. Then go to some antique stores that carry furniture. I find antique furniture comes in a lot of of different shapes and sizes that you really can't find with furniture today. Plus it will probably be a bit cheaper and nicer (I think). Antique furniture also seems to have a lot of various size openings to but the projector in when you are done. For whatever reason the thing to do a long time ago was to hide everything......much diffrent then today. Good luck.

John, what is your ceiling height? Does that projector have a large image offset, is that the problem? Have you thought about how you'll hide the cables and power cord?

Evan and Jim, thanks for trying to help. I might try the antique idea. It would go with the woodwork of the theater.

Jim, I am going with the BenQ 7700. My ceiling is only 6 1/2 ft high and even lower on the wall of the screen because of a lip that comes down on the sheetrock because of overhead pipes on the wall. I know the projector has the keystone correction feature but I was told to try not to use it. The wires are going to be fed through the carpet to a wall and then through a wire channel to my equiptment rack.
