Has anyone with a hd dvd player or at least one that upconverts to 1080i, played T2 Extreme (Terminator 2)? Can you tell me the results. I plan on buying the Liteon LVD-2002. I want to really see how the movies look upconverted. Thanks for the info.

Disc 2, the HD disc is only playable on an internet equipped 2.5G+ PC...

Disc 1 however is 480i mastered from a superior print. It look will look stunning on any stand alone player although it will not be true HD.

The disc 1 quality is worth the price of the set alone.

There is no HD-DVD players! They might come out in several years but will be very expensive. The HD video file on the T2:Extreme DVD is a Microsoft WM video file, that can only played on very high-end computers, you need a Pentium 4 3Ghz+ and Microsoft requires internet authorization too. No standalone players have anywhere near the CPU horsepower and can't handle HD resolutions either.
