I've owned this disc for close to 2 years and never looked at disc 2.

Now I just picked up a Samsung 6187 1080P DLP and hooked my PC upto it and it looks great.

To make matters worse I was doing a side job and have 2 very nice Westinghouse 42" 1080p LCD's sitting here too.

So I decide to try out the 1080p version of the movie on both screens.

It won't read the disc...I've tried it on 3 computers...it just grinds away on 2 but on my Dell laptop it comes up and works fine...but I don't want it to play on my Laptop [IMG]

    Any idea's?

Thanks but that page just explains if you have problems playing and setup.

I can't get the drive to even recognize there is a disc.

Interesting. It won't even read the standard DVD content (the extras)?

    Eric:

Back in the day when the "Extreme" streeted, it was notoriously problematic to get the Win Media 9 to play. IIRC most guys seemed to only achieve some success after a combination of posting here and calling tech support for their computer manufacturer.

Do a search here and you'll find (a) thread(s) to skim that ought to provide help.

But I second Ray's question: on two 'puters the disc won't even spin up to play the standard def supplemental content? Pardon the basic inquiry: these are Win XP Pro machines with all the other min sys reqs?

You know T2 is out on Blu-ray now, yes? [IMG]

That disk is frustrating I have it as well and we had a time getting ours to work. The ability to play the disc could be based on the power of the computer but I'm not very computer savy this is just one crazies opinion.
