I am looking for such a DVD set for the purposes of a demonstration. Are any of you aware of a DVD set that allows you the option of viewing what was shown as "previously on..." for any given episode?

I think Six Feet Under has them too, but I could be remembering wrong.

NYPD Blue has this feature if I'm not mistaken.

Do you mean a feature separate from the episode itself that allows you to view a "previously on..." featurette?

If so, I don't know of any who have set this feature aside.

Six Feet Under has the feature, along with "Next time on". It works the same way as on the Sopranos sets.

Along with The Sopranos and Six Feet Under, Sex and the City and Oz have the same "previously on..." and "next time on..." feature.

Hmmm, it's almost like it's an HBO thing. [IMG]

No, but it does have some Joss Whedon mini-interviews where he discusses certain episodes (not all of them). But there aren't any episode trailers.

I wish more sets would include those, especially when there's a continuing storyline, like 24.

I believe the Star Trek TOS discs have the trailers as well.

I think the "Twin Peaks" S1 set has the "Previously on..." intros.

Also the first episode of the second season of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" has the "Previously," attached to it. But no other eps do. Hopefully they'll at least include the "Previously" for "The Gift" on the S5 set.

NYPD Blue has it as a seperate feature, available from the episode menu.

As far as I recall, all the multi-part episodes of Star Trek (TNG & DS9) have their "Last time on Star Trek..." bits intact as part of the pre-titles teaser.

Sports Night has a "next week on..." clip at the end of some episodes before end credits

Babylon 5 has the trailers for each episode as a separate feature, (at least for season 1) But no "previously on" unless they were part of a two parter (and they happen at the beginning of an episode).

The Felicity series has the previously-on intros at the beginning of each episode. You cannot turn them on or off.

Since we're naming features similar to the original feature in question, it's worth mentioning that the "Friends" sets have a little teaser clip available for every episode.

"CSI" has a "previously on..." for most of the episodes prior to the credits, but not available as a separate feature.

What exactly is the purpose of this discussion? Was the original poster just asking for a laundry list, or is there a reason he wanted to know this?
