Does anybody know the T/S Parameters for the drivers found in the DefTech BP-2X? Thanks.
That info is probably proprietaty, and mfgrs don't usually give it out when they're using custom designed drivers.
Sorry, I didn't know that the DefTech Drivers were proprietary. So, there's no hope of resurrecting an old BP-2x except for the very tedious task of trial and error?
You didn't ask about resurrecting them you just ask about the T/S parameters. Your options are buy replacement drivers from the mfgr. Buy a used pair and take the needed parts from them. Gut the boxes and rebuild from scratch using DIY drivers
I guess resurrected is not the best word. I want to gut an old BP-2X and use the drivers to make some DIY speakers.
Why bother? They're tired, old mid-fi drivers, and free info isn't available for them. You could have a design service measure the parameters, but that would cost more than they're worth. Start fresh with new drivers and a proven DIY design
Def Tech uses Vifa drivers,at least they used to.
