Syncing up your DVD Audio to HDTV broadcasts, anybody else do this? (1 Viewer)

Yesterday I watched The Day After Tomorrow on HBO in HD, which looked amazing. But I ended up syncing up the DTS audio track from the DVD to the HD broadcast. By far one of the best video and audio experiences I've had. Usually the broadcast dolby digital doesn't sound great. Does anyone else do this also?
