I just got a Mits WT-42311 and when viewing standard TV in 4:3, the side grey bars are unequal in size. The left one is about 4" wide and the right one is about 6" wide. Is there any way to correct this?

My first guess is your picture is not centered.

I just found out that this is a feature of the Mits RPTVs. The location of the 4:3 image changes each time you turn on the set to help prevent burn in. Sometimes it is centered, other times it is slightly to the left or right of center. Great feature!
