Great movie!

My disc freezes and pixelates before the infamous "snake scene" and the DVD player compelely skips it!

I did a search on the forum and couldn't find any threads about this title (is this search function really working?...this is not the first time I've searched for a title that I KNOW was discussed and come up dry). I have a Panny RP 91. Is this a sorf of problem other folks had? I want to know before I try to replace the disc to determine the best way to procede.

It plays fine on my Sony, but I also have a Pioneer DVL-909 that seems to be real sensitive to problems with dual layer discs (more often than not if they are made by Technicolor). I'll see how it works on that one and post back if there is any problem.

It plays fine on my trusty li'l Panasonic RV31.
But, a good pal of mine has similar trouble with
Disney discs as well.

I didn't encounter any problems playing this film either.

Toshiba SD-5109 (yah, I need to upgrade) here.

(As it happens, I have another Disney classic, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea all set to go tonight. )
