This thread reminds me of a short film Kevin Smith and I discussed making to be titled "The Secrets of Super-35", wherein we'd show innocuous scenes from movies properly matted, and then replay them with the mattes removed, only to reveal all sorts of mischief occuring in the previously "matted" areas- i.e., crew members having sex just outside of the theatrical matte, or just as the "No animals were harmed in the making of this film" credit ran, an actor would be brutally killing an animal (faked of course- we weren't planning on making CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST 2 here) just below the matte...

I'm sure folks like us here would get a kick out of such a short film at least
