What is the best way to set these? I have a Denon 2802 with an SVS sub. Should I set the volume on the sub up and control the output via the Denon? What level should each be set at? I have the SVS 20-39 PCi with the 320W RMS amp.
Currently I calibrated the sound at 0 on the Denon with the sub level up to equal the db of the other 6 speakers at 75db.

That's the way to do it. The Denon's sub-out can clip just like an amp - a big boom plus having the D's sub out too high could send a clipped signal to the SVS, which would then amp the clipped signal. So keeping it at or below 0 should prevent that from happening.
