bump,
still looking for that northern california home theater guy who wants to come on over for an audition.

as far as the SVS PB12-Plus/2 performance goes, just toggle on the review link to audioreview.com or go to the SVS site for links to several pro reviews. i can simply say that everyone who hears it is blown away...
at the risk of scaring off potential buyers, i'll give an example:

when i put on the scene in Finding Nemo where "Darla" is tapping on the fish tank, it feels like the house is going to vibrate off the foundation.
the clean output of this sub is unbelieveable, in my 23'x17' living room i can get usable output down to 12hz. yet it handles music with speed and precision. on the Eagles "Hell Freezes Over" dvd there are complicated pieces with bass guitars and kick drums. the sub cruises through them to perfection without the slightest hint of "booming", "bloating" or otherwise calling attention to itself.
it's easily the best sub i've ever heard at ANY price, and that includes numerous high end offerings by Velodyne,Boston, etc.
if all of this seems hard to believe, then come and listen for yourself before buying.
best,
eric

several people have asked why i'm selling the SVS sub:

simple,
when i purchased the sub, it was the best that SVS made.
they have just released the PB12- ultra/2.
i want one, but they cost about $2500.
i can't imagine anything sounding better than the PB12-plus/2 but i've got "upgradeitis" and want to find out.

i've had a lot of interest, but have not been able to work out the shipping logistics/cost...
anyone traveling for the holidays?
thanks for reading,
eric
