    Geeez.....

I knew a thread like this would pop up sooner or later. [IMG]

The PB1-ISD has been out for about a half a year now, and you will find many more folks that own one because of it.

Both companies have a great following and for good reason. They both offer great value.

The STF-3 is still not available yet. I own a Hsu VTF-3. The STF-3 is based on the VTF-3 tuned to maximum output. The VTF-3 is the cleanest and tightest sub I have experienced in its category. I have not heard a box sub from SVS yet.

The absolute best advice would for you to try both and compare them side by side on your own. Not an easy thing to do...I know. Otherwise, without being partial, and until I have heard both, I'd say it is a toss up.

Your pretty much outta luck with comparisons........you'll just have to look at both products and decide on paper(or website) which to go with. Wish you luck, it's a tough choice.........

Agreed... try them both and you should not have a problem at all selling the other one for what you got it for unless you want to flip for return shipping. I kind of have this picture in the back of my mind that it will be a toss up and you would be happy with either one though.

    Sure Gabriel...that would be great!

Heck...you can drive to Anaheim and hear Hsu's whole line. If I can manage to get the VTF-3 in the car by myself, I would be happy to bring it.

I hear you. Getting the Adcom GFA-7807 out of the crate and into the rack alone nearly killed me.

Having both a heavy sub (VTF-3R) and a heavy amp (Cinenova Grande 3), I can't imagine moving either one!

Just heard a friend's SVS PB1, and I love my Hsu. Don't see how you could go wrong either way...
