Ive got the upgrade bug..my old JBL PSW1000 100w sub just isnt cutting it anymore.With a 80% HT 20% music.Whats everyones opinion an either the "titanic" or the SVS 25-31PC?Room is approx 12ft wide by 18ft long.normal carpet,furniture etc.HK 520 reciever,AR TSW 510 fronts.

SVS are regarded to be the best if you're going the pre-assembled route, but the Titanics are no slouch if your affinity is for DIY. The sealed Titanic kit on the Parts Express website can be quite powerful if used in tandem, but they are still much better-suited for music reproduction than home theater. You would need to design a ported design if you wanted good home theater, and use the 12" Titanic powered by the 250W amplifier.
