Anyone in the Garden State have 'em? If possible could I listen to them. I need to get a sub, and have sampled a B&W, sunfire, REL, and Klipsch. If its not too much trouble.
    Thankx Mike

Hey Jack I was just at Audio Connection this Saturday.

Nice place, I'm going to get some alphacore cable for my speakers there.

    Cheers,

    Mike

I'm quite a bit farther than Neil is for you, below the Raritan in Monmouth county. Have a CS Ultra powered by S1000. If something closer doesn't work out and you're willing to put up with an uncalibrated sub (waiting for test tone CD) and less than 5 speakers (waiting for surrounds), can do.

If you get some more offers, you may want to be picky and demo in a similar room to where the sub will end up. Mine is 13x20x8 enclosed.

My room is 20x15 with openings to other rooms and cathedral ceilings. In other words, huge (cubic footage-wise.) My room is also a bit echoey, something I'm going to try to address.

So you won't get the thing pumping at reference levels in my house. Still sounds good and loud to me, though.

One day... PC Ultra or PC+.

If you still want to hear an SVS, a 20-39PC arrived today at my apartment in NYC... I am anxious to test it out against my PW 2200.

How can you possibly use an SVS in an apartment without getting evicted, or at least incurring the wrath of your neighbors????
