Hi Robb,

yes, that may well be.
On the other side, the PB1+ is already fairly large isn't it?
PB1+ = 19W, 25H, 25D, the PB2U = 19W, 26H, 29D.

So, for one more 12" driver, they made the cabinet just one inch higher and 4 inches longer. That makes me think that the PB1+ is already at a size which allows SVS to sell it later as an PB1U by exchanging the driver and maybe the amp w/o further modification to the enclosure.

Anyhow, I think Ed is right. I am waiting for my first SVS now since May 2003, where the discussion started. I'll stick to the order as I would like to see them now in real

Too big, my friend. The space allocated up front is perfect for the PB2 enclosure.

I told ya that some time ago too Ed..just giving ya a little push overboard *lol* Man, they do look close in size, but 6 inches does make a difference. DId you happen to see the one Gab from Apex ordered? if I can find the thread, i'll post it...another beauty...let me look

Gorgeous, and a perfect match to the speaks. I can't wait for mine - decided on American Antique to match my Armstrong distressed pine floor and t&g cedar paneling. It WILL be awesome - can't wait to post pics.
