SVS has today announced the arrival of a new “reference” performance version of its budget subwoofer line known as the 1000 Pro Series. The range includes the SB-1000 Pro sealed cabinet model (available in Premium Black Ash finish for $499.99, or Piano Gloss Black/Piano Gloss White for $599.99) and the PB-1000 Pro ported cabinet model (pictured above and available in Premium Black Ash for $599.99). Both can be purchased now.
SVS says that the Pro line, which incorporates tech from the flagship 16-Ultra sub, sets new performance benchmarks for the price range. Both PB and SB versions deploy new 12-inch high-excursion drivers, Sledge STA-325D amplifiers with fully discrete MOSFET output, 50 MHz Analog Devices DSP, reworked cabinets and a smartphone app for tuning and control. Frequency response for the SB-1000 Pro and PB-1000 Pro are measured as 20Hz to 270Hz +/-3 dB and 17Hz to 260Hz +/-3dB, respectively...

You are indeed correct, I've secured a PB-1000 Pro for eval. It will be arriving at the beginning of March so I'll be putting it through the wringer shortly thereafter.
