I recently noticed that when I have a track playing (movie or music) with a sudden deep bass, I hear sort of a "booming vibration" (for lack of a better descriptive term), but if I go over to the sub and put pressure/weight on the top, it sounds fine and goes away. Is there any way to fix this without putting a ton of bricks on top of my sub? Oh, and I'm using the spikes (if that means anything).

    Scott,
I'd bet a doughnut (mmmm...doughnuts) that if you take the spikes off this will stop. We did away with the spikes precisely because they were so rarely useful and often caused problems.
Please contact us if this is not the case. Make sure your grill damping screws are in full contact with the grill (depressing it a tad) too.
