How does the Servo 15 stack up against the SVS 16-46 PC-Plus sub? I am leaning toward buying a set of Paradigm Studio 100's, a Studio CC, and a set of Studio ADP's and I need to decide on the sub. I like the looks of the Servo 15 with light cherry veneer but I can save over $500 if I go with the SVS 16-46 PC-Plus. I am curious how they stack up against each other in HT and in music.

Any thoughts??

Servo15 rocks. Don't know what the 16-46 sounds like, but from the people here it sounds like a good sub. Probably can't go wrong either way unless you make the trip up to canada and buy the servo 15.

Trey,

Here are my thoughts. I have Studio 100's,CC and ADP's and was looking to add a sub. After researching the options, I went with a Tumult based sub from Acoustic-Visions.com. Kyle is a great guy to work with and does fantastic work. He can match the veneer on the Paradigms so that you have a nice matching look if that is what you are after. You will get more performance per dollar with one of his subs than either the Servo or the SVS.

Now, depending on what your main use is for the sub (HT vs Music) and the size of your room will depend on what you will want to look at. He uses the best drivers from Adire and Stryke and can create a tremendous sub in the price range that you are in.

Give him a call or e-mail him and see what he has to say. He usually replies to email very fast.
