I am unsure of which forum to post in.. and this one seemed the closest....
I know that this might sound like a strange question..
But is there any form of device that will connect a S-Video cable and split the signal into the component video (aka Toshiba 'ColorStream') input for a Toshiba TV?
My almost new DVD player does not have the component output and would like to use this unused video input for either my DVD player or my DirecTV box.

The new Kenwood receivers with "Universal Video" do this, I believe. Check it out.
