Denise's move tonight will go down as one of the most memorable in Survivor history.
THAT was a real "wow!" :D

I've been enjoying this season greatly. I think having a cast of all-winners has really created an interesting dynamic among the players. It'll be interesting to see who returns from the Edge of Extinction.

Spoilers ahead...

Yeah, it was a great week and the two huge stars of the series have been voted out.

I gotta tell you, I don't think anybody thought Sandra or Rob would make it given the fact they already had a mark on their back and couldn't even tone down their enormous egos.

Speaking of which...

I don't know whether to laugh or shake my fist at Tony. He's doing the same ol' shit that got him in trouble on past seasons. You would think he would know better.

Kind of hard to figure out who will win this. If I was going to guess, it would say JEREMY.

And the editing gave no hint of it, which in this case I'm glad for.
Amen, brother.

I knew something HAD to be up when she came up with that "I'll give you one coin before and one coin after" gambit...but I will admit to not having figured it all out. I'm a bit surprised she played the 2nd idol on Jeremy, but I guess I could see what she was thinking.

Say what you want about Sandra, but she was wise enough to know she almost never participated in challenges or ever remotely had a chance to win one, so she might as well bow out and head to the Ponderosa and enjoy a fat steak.

This has been a pretty mediocre season at best. Redemption Island only took away from the real gameplay. I can't blame Sandra for throwing in the towel. I am near doing that myself for the rest of this season.

I'm having a hard time imagining that if one of the players on Extinction makes it back in the game, that they would have a chance against those who are left. But, stranger things have happened.

Kudos to Rob for snagging 3 of those 4 tokens (and successfully hiding it from everyone else).

Ohhhhhhhh. I SO wanted Boston Rob to win the "battle back" challenge. so close!

I don't have a problem with Tyson winning it. I am simply entertained more by Rob's gameplay.

I can't believe they'll wait too much longer for the 2nd "battle back."

And every player (save Sandra) is going to be on the jury!?!?!?!

That was a damn good episode of Survivor.

A very, very emotional family visit - on both islands. With no gut-wrenching contest/decisions.

And then a fantastic Tribal. Very tense, even comical (with Jeremy and Sarah both wanting the other to go first). And no clear target going in.

I assume the other non-shown vote was for Sophie, so if Kim had chosen the other way, Sophie would have gone home with an idol in her pocket.

And the post-show, post-tribal scene was deserved.

Kim Spradlin is a pro's pro at this game - I was surprised she wasn't able to read the room on she played her idol. But I'm glad she's still in the game. She's the only one left that I'm rooting for.

Not really a Tony fan, but gotta admire the guy's love and enthusiasm for the game. Still, I'm rooting against him and Jeremy.

In this one episode, Tony found an immunity idol, got three different people to give him Fire Tokens when he was hit with the Extortion Advantage, won his second straight immunity challenge, completely flipped the vote by breaking people off from different alliances to take out Sophie and, in the preview for next week, was seen up in the trees in a SPY NEST!

I guess I'm a glutton for punishment as I allowed myself to get sucked into this show again. For me there are just too many gimmicks that detract from the aspects of the show that I like. Fire Tokens, Steal a Vote, BAil on Tribal, HII, etc, etc.

Tony remains a lunatic. He hid it at first but his inner Tiger King has come out....

Is this over and a champion announced yet?

I stopped watching two weeks ago as I got sick of the new format.

However, out of interest, wondering if someone won yet.

Finale is next week (May 13).

And for the record, I think this has been a very enjoyable and fun season.

Enjoyable. But I was rooting for the "old school" players.

Really pulling for Boston Rob to get back in the mix. But I wouldn't be surprised if Natalie clawed her way back in.
