What location should dipole surrounds be? Directly next to the main listening position or in front of it? How high up should they be?
What about rear surrounds, should they be close together, and how high? (rears will be in-walls)

Dan,
After doing a lot of reading both here and off-line, I ended up mounting my side surrounds slightly behind my listening position (approx. 2 feet) and up about 3 feet above my ears (when sitting down). Your rears should also be mounted at the same height if possible to keep the sound field beside and behind you on the same plane as much as possible.
Hope this helps you!
