I would like use the surround speakers for the 2nd pair of mains. Because I listen to alot of music I would like to connect the surround speakers to the number 2 main channel outputs as well as the surround outputs .Any suggestions ?
Can I just connect the speaker wire to 2 outputs or do I need to get some sort of switch ?

hrmm what receiver are you using? you can get the same effect without swapping channels by using Dolby PLII. I wouldnt suggest connecting the wire to 2 outputs i would think that would damage your system.

I think most receivers have a DSP mode called "6-channel stereo" or something along those lines where all of the speakers drive the same stereo signal.
