I currently have the following hooked up to my surge suppressor.

Samsung 30 Inch Slimfit CRT TV
Panasonic DMP-BD60 Bluray player
Toshiba HD-A2 HDDVD
Xbox 360
JBL E250 Northridge 12 inch subwoofer
Onkyo TX-SR805 A/V Receiver (130W x 7)
Dish Network HDDVR

This weekend I will be replacing my Slimfit with a Panasonic 42 inch Plasma TV which I assume will probably draw less power than the Slimfit.

But my question is, with all of this nice equipment, is this surge suppressor adequate? I spent about $45 on it on sale a couple of years ago.

The thing that concerns me, is that it doesn't have network connections for my Blu-ray player, or my Xbox 360 which are both hooked up to my DSL Modem directly.

I looked at this product:

It certainly costs more (though has fewer outlets). Am I going to gain anything from something like this? It only has one network cable. Or would I be just as protected if I bought a better surge suppressor for my computer and ran the phone line through it before it reached my modem?

I know this is alot of questions, but I also used to have my power flicker in my office in the other room sometimes if I had alot of stuff running, though I haven't noticed that in probably 6 months. Is that dangerous for my equipment, and should I consider a voltage stabilizer? The cost is certainly prohibitive, but if I'm doing long term damage, I'm willing to consider it. Thanks in advance, sorry for all of the questions.

Would something like this give me alot better protection, and protect me from the power flickering out?

Or perhaps, I could use something like this to just hook up my A/V Receiver, TV, and Sub to to provide the maximum protection to those items that are most expensive? This price isn't probably out of my reach?

Parts Express had a closeout on a Phillips surge protector for 59.88.

Thanks for the link, I will check into that. I still don't think that will help me with the flickering of the lights, though again I haven't noticed that in a while.
